Thomas Hammond is serving on the staff of the North American Mission Board as Team Leader of the Personal and Mass Evangelism Team in the Evangelization Group.

Before this, he served as Director of Missions for the Metrolina Baptist Association in Charlotte, North Carolina. He also served as Director of the Direct Evangelism Team, and Director of Church Evangelism of the North American Mission Board. In addition, Thomas has served as
Minister of Evangelism at Hebron Baptist Church, Dacula, Georgia, at the Ohio Baptist Convention as an associate in the Evangelism Department, and as a chaplain for the Veterans Administration Medical Center (VAMC) in Memphis, Tennessee.

Thomas is a graduate of Augusta State University, Augusta, Georgia and Mid- America Baptist Theological Seminary, Germantown, Tennessee.
