KidCity Safety

The KidCity Children's Ministry Staff strives to provide an extremely fun, yet safe environment for your children. Please see the safety precautions our ministry takes to ensure your child's safety.

- Once you arrive to the KidCity Children's Ministry area, or any ministry event (Sunday morning, Wednesday Evening, and any other special event) you will check-in at one of our computer kiosk using your 7-digit telephone number. Once your child is checked in, you will receive a sticker for each child, and a matching parent sticker for each child. You MUST have the matching sticker with you when picking your child up. If you have authorized someone else to pick up your child, they can be no younger than 6th grade and must have the matching  you were given. Your child will not be released to any unauthorized person.

- Every person working in KidCity is background checked and required to wear a name tag to denote them as a cleared worker. Persons who have not been cleared are not allowed to work in KidCity Children's Ministry.

- A Child is not allowed to leave any KidCity area without an adult

- Health Guidelines are in place to maintain clean, and safe areas (Click Here to read Health Guidelines)

- Please have your numbered claim ticket, phone, or pager (nursery only) ready always. Your child's number will flash at the bottom of the video screens in the Worship Center, or you will receive a phone call or page in the case that you are needed for any matter regarding your child. Know that we take every precaution to maintain a clean and safe environment for your child.

- In the case of any emergency, please know that our facilities and emergency procedures have been approved by the local Fire Department. We have procedures in place for any emergency and will take all necessary precautions in the case of an emergency. Please do not try to come pick your child up during an emergency unless given the ALL CLEAR to do so by staff.

Sunday Check-in Process
We encourage you to check-in your child at a kiosk in their designated age-group area, but you are free to check-in at any kiosk in the KidCity Children's area. For your convenience, you may also check-in all children at one computer. Please label all items belonging to your child before they enter their room.

You can begin checking your child in 15 minutes prior to the start of each service. Please plan to pick up your child no later than 15 minutes after each service.

Through our security system, we strive to provide a secure and safe environment for your child. Safety is one of our key values so please remember these guidelines so that your child can have the best time possible in KidCity. Please wait patiently outside your child's room as we ensure that all children are checked out safely.
