Students

Elevate is the student ministry of FBCA.  It is focused on helping students come to know Christ and have a vibrant, walking, talking relationship with Him.  We hope to accomplish this through our weekly activities as well as events geared towards outreach, fun, discipleship and worship.  We believe that students will impact their homes, schools, communities, and the world for Christ, so we want to provide a safe environment for them to meet their potential.  No matter what we do, we will be connected to FBCA's vision and the four priorities of Reaching, Equipping, Ministry, and Worship. 

 

	Connect Groups Connect Group is a time for our students 6th to 12th grade to meet together with trained adult leaders.  We meet at 9:30 and 11:00 am.  The 9:30 am Connect Groups meet in the Summit for a large group time of worship, announcements, and a quick challenge.  After this time we separate into small groups by age and gender.     The 11:00 am Connect Group is also for students from the 6th to 12th grade.  We meet in the Student Café located on the 3rd floor.
	Wednesday Nights 6:30-8:00 pm. We currently meet in the Summit for a large group time of worship, hang time, games and a topical discussion. In many ways, this is the starting point of a student’s involvement in our ministry.  This night is our outreach event to students.  Each week we host many students who have no church home, so this night is targeted at them.  It is also a time for our student leaders to step up and lead.
