GRIEF SHARE – TRIUMPH OVER SUFFERING

All of us experience some type of suffering in this world. Whether it is the devastating loss of a parent, spouse, child or loved one, it often feels like a train wreck in our lives. Or experiencing an illness or a difficult challenge such as divorce, financial crisis, or job loss. I believe we all come to a point and ask the question “WHY GOD?” With this 10 week specialized curriculum and pointed discussion, God can begin mending your heart by revealing His Sovereignty. Living Beyond Yourself is a study of the fruit of the Holy Spirit as presented in the book of Galatians. Beth Moore walks participants through each trait listed in the fruit and encourages women to know the freedom of a Spirit-filled life. Through this study, participants will look at the supernatural aspects of the fruit and that you cannot grow, learn, or produce the fruit on your own. Beth challenges you to develop the fruit by maintaining an intimate relationship with the Spirit of God. A Spirit-filled life truly results in living beyond yourself. Workbook fee $16

You are a leader!  In some area, you are an influencer and others are looking to you for leadership (in your family, church, school, sports or business).  As Christians, God calls us to a higher standard as we lead others.  David Mimms has taught biblical leadership locally and in several foreign countries. He will be using highly proven curriculum developed by Dr. John Maxwell and Dr. Tim Elmore. Whether you are a mother, a student, a CEO, or in church ministry, you will enjoy and be challenged by this class.

For seven years Karen Stubbs has been perfecting classes to teach and mentor moms. Her goal is to give women direction and purpose as an encouragement to moms going through the day-to-day struggles involved in parenthood. Moms have special challenges in parenting and need to hear that they are not alone in their thoughts and feelings. This class will give you the Biblical foundation, practical action and attitudes and personal mentoring for motherhood. Workbook fee $10

BRIDE+GROOM: IGNITING PASSION

Open to married and pre-marital couples. This six week course is an in-depth biblical study of first century culture and the relationship between Jesus and his disciples. Taking this model, we mirror the example of Christ to His Bride in our marriage relationships. Each week we will gain insight and application on being chosen, roles we fill, our relationship mishaps, how to resolve conflict, and how to continue passion in a covenant relationship. Outcome: past couples described the class as impactful in understanding Christ and how His teaching is profoundly different from how the world defines marriage. Class fee: $20 per couple

This class will combine specific material to study cemented with discussion and personal encouragement. This semester will include reading and studying “Cure for the Common Life,” by Max Lucado, written to help you discover how your ability unveils your destiny, and how to find your uncommon call to an uncommon life. This book offers practical tools for exploring and indentifying your own uniqueness and motivation to put your strengths to work. This class is sponsored by the Men’s Ministry. Workbook fee $11
 
OPEN BIBLE STUDY

A fundamental Wednesday night Bible study where we will study God’s word in-depth, this class is open to all ages. The study will concentrate on the books of Galatians and key chapters in Judges and we will finish the semester with some basic biblical lessons in spiritual disciplines. This study is open to anyone at any time during the semester. A practical, clear and real application, this look into God’s word will change you. These expositional stories bring Bible knowledge to real life.
