The Worship and Arts Ministry of Alpharetta First Baptist seeks to develop hearts that yearn for more of God. Our goal is to act as a catalyst towards a connection with Him. We use a high-energy band along with praise team and worship choir in both of our services. Our first service at 9:30 am features a ‘Classic’ worship experience which incorporates well-known and loved hymns. Our second service at 11:00 am has a more ‘Contemporary’ and high-energy feel.
We understand that worship should be a way of life, not just something we do on Sundays. If you have a passion for worshiping the Lord and want to use your gifts in the creative arts here at Alpharetta First Baptist, we invite you to take a few minutes to discover the ways you can join us. And if you’d like more information about any of these opportunities, contact Lisa Kaus in the Worship Office at 770.475.6556 or firstname.lastname@example.org.

The choir is the heart of our worship ministry! It is made up of everyday people who love the Lord and desire to lead God's people in worship. We gather each week to worship and pray together...we also laugh, cry, and grow with each other. There are no auditions and no one is turned away. We invite you to join us. Rehearsals are held each Wednesday evening from 6:00 – 7:30 pm in the Azalea Room.
Praise Band/Praise Team
The praise band and team consists of a group of auditioned singers and instrumentalists. The praise team is held to a high standard of excellence spiritually, musically, and personally. Praise team singers must also be members of our church and choir. Additional rehearsals are required for both the band and praise team, in addition to early call times on Sunday morning.
Creative Arts Team
The Creative Arts Team takes care of all our audio, video, lighting, stage management and graphics needs. Expertise is welcomed, but not necessary. If you don't have experience but want to explore one of these areas more, we would love to train you! The only requirement is that everyone comes with a servant's heart.
